How to make the liver cleansing smoothie

To make this liver detox smoothie simply put mainly kale (two or three handfuls , some beet tops and parsley into a blender. Next add water until your greens are completely covered.

If this is too bitter for you you can add a hand full of blueberries or strawberries or even some (liquid) stevia.

Blending this will result in a brownish green colored smoothie because you’re mixing green and red from the beets. It might not look very appetizing… but your liver will thank you for it!

Drink one of these smoothies in the morning and another one somewhere between lunch and dinner. Don’t drink this before you go to bed, as you’ll be up all night peeing. Because of the high potassium content it acts as a diuretic.
