According to fitness, diet and nutrition expert Thomas DeLauer there could be another reason why you’re not losing weight however hard you’re trying…

You’re body isn’t absorbing nutrients!

The main culprits are all the processed, genetically modified and other crazy foods that we’re putting into our bodies, says DeLauer. They are making it so that we’re no longer able to absorb our nutrients well.

The number one reason for this is the inflammation these foods cause in our body.

This leads to a slower metabolism, making it harder to lose weight and causing you to feel weary and making it difficult to find the energy to get you through the day.

And DeLauer knows what he’s talking about. He used to be 280 pounds. He was working a corporate healthcare job. This meant sitting at a desk a lot.

“Honestly I thought I was eating pretty well, but I wasn’t choosing the right foods at the right time. I just gained more and more weight” says DeLauer.

Eventually he met someone who taught him about inflammation, how certain foods can have different effects on the body and expediting the removal of toxins. This intrigued him and he ended up becoming an expert in it over the next few years.

He learned that the answer to his weight problem wasn’t juice fasting or taking a special pill. It was eating eating real and eating specific foods at certain times.

Applying what he had learned, he went from being 280lbs to 185lbs and appearing on the covers of some of the largest health and fitness magazines in the world.
